Ssangyong E&C has taken significant strides in nurturing future leaders of the global construction industry by welcoming a new cohort of employees in the first half of this year.

 

On July 30, the company announced the successful recruitment of over 20 recent graduates through a public hiring drive.

 

The comprehensive ion process, spanning April to early July, covered seven distinct fields - architecture, civil engineering, electrical engineering, facilities, plant operations, safety, and finance. The recruitment involved a meticulous screening of documents, online aptitude tests, English proficiency assessments, and interviews.

 

The newly onboarded employees embarked on a three-week orientation program from July 13 to 28, held at Ssangyong E&C's headquarters and training centers located in Gapyeong and Icheon in Gyeonggi Province. The new recruits’ completion of the orientation marked the promising start of their careers with the company.

 

For the very first time, the orientation program introduced a unified introductory session for Global Sae-A Group. During this program, the trainees engaged in a range of outdoor activities, including “Ssangyong Map,” where they scoured Ssangyong E&C’s construction sites for construction completion monuments, and volunteer services to aid individuals with severe disabilities in their daily routines. These activities were carefully curated to imbue new employees with a profound sense of belonging and pride in the company, while also igniting their vision of a prosperous future ahead.

 

Upon successfully completing the training, the new employees will be placed at both domestic and international sites, where they will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training (OJT) to develop into experts within their specific domains.

 

Meanwhile, Ssangyong E&C has strived to recruit diverse talents, including entry-level candidates, experienced professionals, and interns, resulting in the addition of over 600 individuals over the past decade.

 

Moreover, after warmly welcoming Global Sae-A as the primary shareholder at the end of last year, Ssangyong E&C has fostered collaboration through public hiring initiatives in partnership with Sae-A Trading. This collective recruitment drive represents a pioneering endeavor in the history of Global Sae-A Group and is poised to amplify the Group’s recruitment endeavors going forward.
