Ssangyong wins work for Damyang-Seongsan section of Highway 12

On October 28, the Company was awarded the project to expand the Damyang-Seongsan section of Highway 12 for 69,248 million won (the Company’s equity: 90% or 62,953 million won) from the Korea Highway Corporation.
The extension of the 9.8 km section between Neukgok-ri, Sunchang-gun and Ganam-ri, Sunchang-myeon is designed to improve road safety and put a stop to the chronic traffic congestion in the area. The work also includes expansion of the existing two-lane road to a four-lane road (7 km) and extension of the four-lane road (2.8 km). The work period is for 50 months.
