Ssangyong Yega in Sajik-dong, Busan receives Good Apartment Prize

On July 16, Ssangyong Yega Apartment in Sajik-dong, Busan built by Ssangyong Eng & Const won the Good Apartment Prize from the Maeil Business Newspaper.

The prize-awarding ceremony held at the Korea Contractor Financial Cooperative in Nonhyeon-dong. Seoul was attended by Construction Minister Lee Yong-sup and Maeil Newspaper Chairman Chang Dae-hwan. Managing Director Kim Jeong-guk of Ssangyong Eng & Const won a prize in the sector of large-sized construction firms.

The 2,947-household apartment comprised of twenty-nine 25-story buildings was reborn through the renovation work. The difference in height between the eastern and western tips of the site comes to 40 meters. The Company settled the problem by forming a well-landscaped park composed of a Water Plaza, Rock Plaza, Mountain Ridge Park and Cloud Park.

Its basement spaces house an indoor driving range, an aerobic room, a fitness center, a DVD room, a karaoke, a game zone, a library and a lecture room.

Other apartments that have also received the Good Apartment Prize in the past: Chang-dong Apartment (1997), Bugok-dong Apartment Busan (2001), Sang-dong Apartment, Bucheon (2003), Gyeonghee Palace Morning Apartment (2005) and Techno Valley, Daedeok (2006).
