Ssangyong E&C wins oil storage construction contract from the government

Ssangyong E&C announced that it has won a KR\ 73.8 billion contract to build oil storage facilities for the state-run Korea Oil Corporation on November 15, 2005.
The contract involves building six oil tanks, 30-barrel each, on 38,259 pyeong of land in Pyeongtaek, north of Seoul, which will be used to provide a stable energy supply to Seoul Metropolitan Area, the company explained. (1 pyeong = 3.3㎡)
Ssangyong said it won the government-initiated contract based on its accumulated know-how in the field of constructing large-sized oil storage facilities.
