KSMBR Technique designated as a new environmental technology

The KSMBR (Kowaco Ssangyong Membrane Bio-Reactor) technique jointly developed by Ssangyong E&C, Korea Water Resources Corporation, and KMS was designated as a new environmental technology by the Environment Management Corporation on October 11th.
With this technique, it is possible to take advantage of a stable waste treatment even during winter, in addition to a higher efficiency in the treatment of nitrogen and phosphorous than with the other existing waste treatment methods.
The technique is being reflected in the design of 32 sections of the expansion work of sewerage facilities at Daecheong Dam, demonstrating its superiority. With its designation, the Company is likely to be in a more advantageous position in its activities to win orders, with full prequalification points and two additional points granted for environmental facility projects.
