Emirates Towers Hotel built by Besix-Ssangyong J.V., being selected as “ Middle East Business Hotel of the Year”

In March 2002, Emirates Towers Hotel was selected as “Middle East Business Hotel of the Year” in the category of Reader Awards of MEED Awards for Business Excellence 2002.

With a total of 400 rooms and suites, the 51-storey, 305-metre high Emirates Towers is the third tallest hotel in the world constructed by Besix-Ssangyong J.V., a joint venture between Belhasa Six of Belgium and the Company.

Opened in 2001, Emirates Towers Hotel has become the iconic business centre for Dubai. The dramatic entrance, extraordinary atrium and magnificient ballroom are stunning surprises to all first-time visitors. Occupying one of the majestic twin towers on Shaikh Zayed Road in Dubai, Emirates Towers is managed by Jumeirah International, and independent Dubai-based hotel company.

The Awards are organized by EMMP Business international, an organizer and publisher of MEED (the Middle East Economic Digest).
