Ssangyong E&C announces the opening of Yega The Park in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province

2017-05-16

Ssangyong E&C announced on the 16th that Ssangyong Yega The Park, an expanded apartment complex with Gumi National Industrial Complex as a primary source of housing demand, is open for new residents.

The complex is made up of 10 buildings with 15 to 25 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, totaling 757 units with 84㎡ of dedicated space each. Four bay planes and south-facing layouts provide excellent lighting and ventilation. The complex features trails, crime prevention environment system design, school zone, and moms’ station. Ecological ponds, palm gardens and Gumi camping grounds are also available.

As the industrial parks No. 4 and 5 of Gumi National Industrial Complex in North Gyeongsang Province are set to be developed as a high-tech industry, a strong drive in the housing demand in the area is expected.

In October last year, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Gumi 4 plant (carbon fiber composite plant) at the National Industrial Complex in Gumi City. Gumi City government plans to transform the city into a automotive city, developing 660,000㎡ of land into a carbon forming plant complex.

Kangdong High School (tentative name) is currently planned to open around March 2020. In addition, two elementary schools, one junior high school and two high schools are scheduled to open.
