Ssangyong E&C Will Recruit 30 College Graduates

Ssangyong E&C announced the opening of 30 positions for college graduates on January 11. Interested potential recruits should submit the application to Ssangyong E&C online application support system (http://ssyenc.incruit.com) by the 15th.

The positions divided into three fields: civil engineering and architecture, domestic sales (building sales, housing sales, urban maintenance, public sales, technical sales), and management support (planning, outsourcing purchasing, accounting, HR). Applicants must be expected to graduate from a four-year university (or higher) in August 2017 with the major relevant to the field, and should be able to work overseas. Patriots and Veterans, as well as persons with disabilities shall be granted preferential treatment in accordance with relevant laws.

The hiring process will start with the application screening, followed by job aptitude test, first and second interview, and physical examination. Applicants can check the pass-fail status of their application for each step with the online application system.

After the final admission, the firm will conduct practical training for 6 months to 1 year depending on the type of position, which will take place in overseas branches and sites, as well as domestic sites. 

In the past three years, Ssangyong E&C has hired about 200 new recruits, interns, and interns. This year, a total of 100 people will be recruited, including career hires and open recruitment.

Ssangyong E&C, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, has succeeded in winning overseas projects in Dubai, Singapore and Equatorial Guinea following the acquisition of its majority share by the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) in 2015. ICD currently owns assets that amount to 230 trillion KRW.

In the domestic front, the firm received about 1 trillion KRW worth of private construction projects last year, including a state-of-the-art hospital. Ssangyong E&C expects another year of strong performance, led by the impending orders from Dubai.
