Earlier this month (April 15th ~ 16th), new Ssangyong E&C (Chairman & CEO: Kim, S. Joon) employees went to the village of hope located at No. 143, Gyochon-ri, Mokchon-eup, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungnam, to carry out ‘Building Love Houses - Habitat’ volunteer work.

During the habitat volunteer work that stretched over one night and two days, 55 new employees, who graduated from university in the first half of 2010, participated in underground construction, concrete forming, and structural work.

A new employee, Hwang In-Chan (30 years old), who took part in the love house volunteer project said, “I didn’t have time to look around because I was too busy. I realized that we shouldn’t forget to share and be considerate to others.”

Meanwhile, Ssangyong E&C has been operating the ‘love house building’ volunteer project, as a formal program for the training of new employees, from 2006, with the purpose of developing a strong ethic of teamwork and giving in new employees.
