Ssangyong Engineering and Construction Co. received an order worth 16.5 billion won (US$14.5 million) on July 21 to build electric facilities at a container terminal in the Busan New Port. Ssangyong Engineering held a 60 percent stake in the project, or 9.9 billion won.

The order, placed by the Busan Port Authority, calls for Ssangyong Engineering to establish a substation transformer with a capacity of 27 MVA, 1,300 cold electricity devices and 20 field lighting devices in a sea off Gadeok-do, Gangse-district, Busan metropolitan city. Construction will last for 14 months.
