In a congratulatory remark, Ssangyong Engineering Chairman&CEO Kim said, “Today, we are at a historic site that will recreate the Tower Hotel, one of the monumental buildings in Seoul.” “The reason why this project has drawn attention from society is an expectation that it will bring a new sense of dynamism to the 21-century Seoul by recreating the Tower Hotel, once a center of culture in modern Seoul,” Kim said.

Kim went on to say that, “Ssangyong Engineering will build top-quality architecture by concentrating its technical capability and confidence as the best performer in overseas luxury buildings and a leading company in remodeling luxury buildings over the past 30 years.” After the groundbreaking ceremony, Kim received a briefing about the start of construction, inspected the site and offered his support.
