_ Ssangyong Engineering holds music performance for residents of an apartment-remodeling project

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co. held a New Years music performance for residents of Samik Mansion Apartment. Ssangyong is trying to remodel their homes.

Some 400 residents attended the performance by the Yega Pop Ensemble at a theater in Myeongil-dong. The event was well received by the residents as the orchestra performed a variety of pop and jazz songs.

“The event was designed to deliver a sense of thanks to the residents who expressed their interests in the company ahead of a general meeting to pick a builder,” said an official at Ssangyong Engineering. “Instead of one-sided company ads, the music performance gained acceptance because it met demand by consumers for cultural life. In the future, we plan to expand such cultural events.”

Meanwhile, the resident group of the 768-home Samik Mansion Apartment will hold a general meeting on Jan. 19 and plans to select Ssangyong Engineering as a builder for the remodeling project.
