Ssangyong E&C wins rainwater storage facility project in Guri, Gyeonggi Province

On August 8, the consortium, including Ssangyong E&C, won the contract for installation of an initial rain water storage facility in Guri for KRW 16.4 billion (Ssangyong’s portion: KRW 8 billion or 49%) from the Environment Management Corporation.
The 27,000 cbm rain water facility will be installed at the sewage treatment plant in Guri, making it possible to store initial rain (containing high level of contamination) of concentrated downpour for sewage treatment, thus contributing to conservation of the water quality of the Han River. The work period is 27 months.
