SsangYong E&C to hire local talent on its website all year round

SsangYong E&C receives job applications from applicants overseas on its website all year round and this is a first in the industry.

SsangYong E&C (President and CEO Kim S.Joon) recently introduced a new system on its official English website to recruit local talent all year round.
SsangYong E&C has implemented such a system for the first time in the industry.
Until now, SsangYong E&C made an announcement about job openings for its construction project and accepted applications for a limited time period.
But potential applicants might not have been informed about the job openings and had to submit their application before the deadline. The company also faced difficulties in hiring qualified employees from diverse backgrounds.
But by introducing the new recruitment system applicants can register their resume whenever they want to and be considered for all current and future job openings in the company's local construction projects. The company can recruit new employees from among registered applicants whenever it needs to.
The new system consists of 6 different menus, including △ recruitment information, △local staff news, △ online application, and △ confirmation application. On its mobile web page, it provides 3 menus including △ recruitment information, △ local staff news, and △ confirmation application.
The new recruitment system for local talents provides interviews with local staff who are currently working in the field from which applicants can learn much about the company and the job.
An official from SsangYong E&C said, “The competition in the overseas construction industry is getting fierce and therefore, there is an even fiercer competition between companies to hire talented local workers. By implementing a flexible recruitment system, we expect to hire more talented workers in the local markets.”
SsangYong E&C currently manages 18 construction projects in 7 different countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, and Guinea.
