SsangYong Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. (President & CEO Kim, Byung Ho) received applications from 39,252 potential home buyers in the 1st priority group for the company’s 699 units of ‘Gwangan-dong SsangYong Yega “The Ocean”’ apartment. The apartment is located in Gwangan-dong, Suyoung-gu, Busan. It attracted 56.15 prospective buyers for 1 unit on average and all the units were sold.
Especially, 22,127 prospective buyers applied for 211 units of 84.96㎡E type and the competition was the fiercest with 104.87 applicants for 1 unit, on average. In addition, there were 77.64 applicants for a unit of 59.99㎡ type and 48.97 applicants for a unit of 84.98㎡A type, on average.
For units that are reserved for those who deserve a special treatment, approximately 1,900 buyers applied for 229 units in total.
Jongsang Ryu was in charge of the application for the apartments and said, “Approximately 90% of the units are small- and mid-sized apartments. All the apartment buildings are 34 stories high and have a beautiful ocean and mountain view. That is the reason why they are so popular among home buyers. The sales price is around KRW 9.4 million per 3.3㎡, which is cheaper than neighboring apartments with ocean views and that is another advantage.”
SsangYong E&C will announce the winners on the 25th and both parties will sign the contract between the 2nd and 3rd of next month.
‘Gwangan-dong SsangYong Yega “The Ocean”’ has a top-notch view covering Gwangan Grand Bridge, Oryukdo Islands, and Hwangryung Mountain and it only takes 2 to 3 minutes on foot to the Gwangan Station (Busan Subway Line No. 2).
