From Winning the Contract to Completion of the Construction … Actual Experience and Knowhow Included in the Essay
Technical Data Book Containing Unique Methods and Construction Processes, and a Published Picture Book

The book, which introduces the construction process of Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore, was published. The Hotel was acclaimed as an architectural miracle in the 21st century and it opened in June 2010.

Ssangyong E&C (Chairman & CEO, Kim, S. Joon) announced that the company published an essay titled, “And …Made a Miracle”, on the experience and knowhow of employees on site, who successfully completed the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore.

The book contains the experience and personal feelings of 81 workers on the construction site who overcame challenges and made the project successful.
In particular, the book explains Singapore’s rigorous supervision and safety management system in the process of human resources/material procurement and vendor ion.

Managing Director Juk-Jin Ahn of Ssangyoung E&C (former construction director of Marina Bay Sands Gitek) said “The book was published to commemorate the successful completion of the project and spread the experience of employees who constructed one of the most difficult architectural designs successfully”. “The vivid experience of employees in the book is priceless”, he added.

In the meantime, Ssangyoung E&C published the Technical Data Book containing unique methods and construction processes, and a not-for-sale picture book.
