Ssangyong’s Tanjung Priok Tank Terminal project in Indonesia (site director manager Ahn Jeon-soo) marked its 1 millionth hour of accident-free operation as of May 8, subsequently receiving a plaque from Royal Vopak, the project’s host.
The plaque was delivered by Jan Van Den Blink, the project host’s representative, on May 8, a date designated as a Day of “Global SHE (Safety, Health & Environment),” during his visit to the project site.
Ssangyong is currently engaged in the project to build the Tanjung Priok Tank Terminal, an oil storage facility with a storage capacity of up to 1.59 million barrels of refined oil, and the world’s largest water desalination plant project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
