Architectural design picked for administrative complex town

A consortium led by Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co. won a public contest with its architectural design for apartments in an administrative complex town, named Sejong City, beating a regional rival Keryong Engineering & Construction.
The design calls for Ssangyong Engineering to build 1,132-home apartments in the P12 district of the administrative complex town. Ssangyong Engineering is expected to generate some 280 billion won from the project and start building the apartments from May 2009.
The contest was carried out to build apartments in 12 districts of the administrative complex town. The winner of the contest won the rights to build the apartments in one of the 12 districts.
The P12 district is a future-oriented home district with commercial and cultural facilities. A variety of apartments will be built there.
