Groundbreaking ceremony for Songdo SC Hotel

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co. held a groundbreaking ceremony to build the Songdo SC Hotel on Oct. 31. About 200 people, including Incheon city mayor Ahn Sang-soo, Incheon Tourism Corp. president Choi Jae-keun and Ssangyong Engineering CEO Kim Byeong-ho and executive vice president Moon Bo-hyun, participated in the ceremony.
In addition to the groundbreaking of the Songdo SC Hotel, the ceremony marked the start of building the Songdo E6 Hotel by POSCO Engineering & Construction.
Placed by Incheon Tourism Corp., the order calls for Ssangyong Engineering to build the 18-story, 241-room hotel from November 2007 to June 2009 in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon metropolitan city.
