Winning Bid for the Installment of District Heating Pipe [Zone 2] in Seongnam Pangyo District

The consortium led by Ssangyong Construction won the bid for the installment of district heating pipe in Seongnam Pangyo District [Zone 2] posted by Korea District Heating Corporation for KRW6.3 billion (Ssangyong holding a 69% stake, or KRW3.9 billion) on April 3rd.
The project includes the installment of heating pipes that extend to the total of 24.152m in Unjung-dong, Hasanun-dong, Pangyo-dong of Seongnam-shi, Gyeonggi-do, to enable the stable and economic heat supply in Seongnam Pangyo Housing Development District, where a large-scale residential complex will be built. The project will take 24 months to be completed from the groundbreaking.
Ssangyong Construction had also won the bid for the installment of heating pipes in Paju-Goyang inter-district zone [Zone 2] posted by Korea District Heating Corporation for KRW6.7 billion (Ssangyong holding a 70% stake, or KRW4.7 billion) on November 13, 2006.
