Anseong Buldang Final Sewage Processing Facility Site Receives Medal

Anseong Buldang Final Sewage Processing Facility in construction by Ssangyong Construction (Project Manager Geun-bu Park) received a recognition medal from the mayor of Anseong on April 2nd.
The medal was given in recognition of the project’s accomplishment in changing the residents’ negative perception towards the sewage processing plant by introducing the environment-friendly high-quality construction technology as well as in contributing to the development of regional society.
A regular inspection of sediments from automatic truck tire washers was commissioned to Gyeonggi Institute of Health and Environment to prevent the soil pollution, and a mobile sound proof walls (H=3m) were installed when working in the vicinity of farms to minimize the negative effect. The company’s effort to improve the region’s environment was highly regarded.
The project includes the construction of the sewage processing facility with the daily capacity of 10k-ton, 16.3km-long sewer pipe, and 1.47km-long entry road in Buldang-ri of Gongdo-eup, Anseong, Gyeonggi-do. Launched in July 2005, it is scheduled for completion in September 2007.
