New environment technology KSMBR picked as technology of excellence by Korea Federation of Construction Contractors

KSMBR, a next generation core technology for sewage treatment, which Ssangyong E&C developed, was selected as a technology of excellence by the Korea Federation of Construction Contractors on January 17. As a result, the environment management team responsible for the technology at the Company participated in “the second contest of construction technology research of excellence,” which was held at the Federation of Korean Industries on February 14, where it had a chance to promote the superiority of Ssangyong E&C’s new technology.
Ssangyong E&C has won 66 projects concerned with new technology, valued at KRW 43.6 billion up to 2006, thanks to KSMBR after it was certified as new environment technology on October 11, 2005. The Company plans to use the technology in restoring urban ecological environment, including in New Town projects in Seoul and national New Town projects that are being implemented.
