Ssangyong’s remodeling work receives Seoul city award

A building that Ssangyong E&C remodeled was granted an award for its outstanding design on November 23, 2005.
Ssangyong completed its remodeling of Kookmin University’s “Zero One Design Center,” last year. The center received the “Recognition Award” from the Seoul metropolitan government for its simple and modernized lines.
Through the remodeling, the center was transformed from a mundane office building into a new place for exhibitions and other events.
The revamped center building is also known for effectively using metal materials for its façade, which emphasizes the modern ambiance. The construction was commenced on November 2003, and completed on February 2004.
The Seoul metropolitan government has been granting this award annually since 1979 in order to recognize great remodeling work by local contractors.
Ssangyong has received a total of eight awards for its construction. This was the second consecutive year that Ssangyong won the remodeling award, which was awarded for the first time last year.
