CHA hospital hosts groundbreaking ceremony for international woman's hospital 'Global Life Center'
CHA Hospital Group hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for Ilsan Global Life Center, a international woman's hospital. This center, 13-stories high and 8-stories underground with gross area of 72,725㎡ that is located in Janghang-dong, Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, will be completed in February 2019. Gwangryeol Cha, the General President of the CHA Hospital group(6th to the left), and Hungyeu Lee, the president of the CHA Medical School, and Sukjun Kim, the president of the SsangYong E&C, has attended the ceremony.
CHA Hospital Group will create a Bio-city, encompassing hospitals, bio-labs, pharmaceutical companies, and housing projects here.
The General President Cha, in that day's speech, said that "Ilsan Global Life Center will become a major global hospital targeting 10 most serious illnesses for the Asian woman, in 3-hour flight distance, including ones in china", and "the Bio-city will be a basis for the city of Goyang to be a world-class medical city".
