The Independence Hall Project of East Timor awarded to Ssangyong

Ssangyong became the contractor for the Independence Hall Project of East Timor, a nascent country in the 21st century.
On October 21, 2002, the project funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) awarded officially to Ssangyong. The project is situated at the coast-road side, 1.2km northwest-ward from UN Transitional Administration in East Timor(UNTAET) building in the capital city, Dili. The work scope covers one-story independence hall and refurbishment of two-story memorial exhibition hall.
The completion target is April 30, 2003 ahead of the next year’s independence day of May 20, 2003.
