Ssangyong E&C announced on November 18 that the company would open on the following day a model house for Ssangyong The Platinum Premier (to be located at 73, Seungdu-ri, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do) and begin unit presales. 

The apartment complex consists of 14 apartment buildings (B2-35F) featuring 1,696 units with exclusive usage areas of 59-141 m². All units will be available for general presales. Specifically, the complex will feature 59 m² type (548 units), 74 m² type (709 units), 84 m² type (429 units), 129 m²-PENT type (2 units), and 141 m²-PENT type (8 units) configurations.

Ssangyong E&C is planning to include every available feature of premium housing in the new Ssangyong The Platinum Premiere apartment complex.

For instance, the premises will have large landscaped areas with a total size of three football fields a play park that can be used as a waterpark in summer and as a play facility the rest of the year and a pet garden for those who consider pets members of the family.

The complex will also feature a 1.5-kilometer-long “calorie-burning” track that circles around the premises, a mist fountain, an air shelter for protection from fine dust particles, a rooftop garden, a cafeteria, the Kids & Moms Station featuring an air purification system, and a glamping park. In particular, a public daycare center will be established within the premises, a rare facility in the local area and a major selling point for young married couples.

As for layout, all units, except for some of the smallest units (i.e. 59 m² and 74 m² type), will be four-bay units that can provide maximum natural lighting and ventilation. The 84 m² type units, in particular, will feature a balcony on three sides.

In response to the arrival of the contactless era, the complex will also provide the Smart One Pass System, allowing the user to enter the lobby and summon the elevator via a smart key or smartphone without to touch any surfaces. It will offer many other exclusive features as well, including a clean water supply system that provides disinfected, softened water filtered through an automatic backwashing filtration system and an automatic water softener system.

The complex will also provide exclusive parking-related features, including a parking assistance system that informs the driver of where to find an empty spot, a parking location recognition system, a dedicated caravan parking lot, and a dry car washing space. Diverse community facilities will be also available, including a multi-purpose indoor gym, a fitness center, an indoor driving range, a telecommuting office, a book café, and a guest house.

The Gongdo area in Anseong, where the complex will be located, allows access to both the Anseong and Pyeongtaek regions. It also offers convenient transportation options, with the Anseong Interchange (Gyeongbu Expressway) and the Gongdo Intercity Bus Terminal situated nearby.

In particular, on October 7, Starfield Anseong, a mega shopping complex, opened only 1.5 kilometers away, or a five-minute drive from the apartment site. Moreover, SRT Jije Station, Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek campus, and Ssangyong Motor’s factory are all situated nearby. The complex also provides a safe educational environment, with Gongdo Elementary School located within walking distance and with local middle and high schools located less than one kilometer away.

“This is the single largest apartment complex with the most general presale units since the launching of the PLATINUM brand two years ago. As such, the complex has a great deal of symbolic significance, and we will utilize all our construction expertise to ensure that our high-rise residential complex becomes a regional landmark,” a company official said.

The model house is located at 107-9, Sosa-dong, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do. A pre-round of open applications will be launched on November 27, followed by a main application round for specially offered units on December 1, a round for first-priority local applicants on December 2, and a round for first-priority applicants from the surrounding regions on December 3. New residents are expected to move in starting from December 2023.
