Ssangyong E&C announced on March 31 that it would open, on April 3, an online model house for Ssangyong The Platinum Beomeo, which will be offered in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu.

This residential complex will consist of three buildings (B5/39F) featuring 207 apartment and 85 officetel (the Korean term for studio apartments) units. Every unit will have an exclusive usage area of 84 m2. For apartment units, there will be the 84㎡ A (73 units), 84㎡ B (73 units) and 84㎡ C (61 units) types and for officetel units, the 84㎡ OA (28 units), 84㎡ OB (28 units) and 84㎡ OC (29 units) types. Each unit (except for some officetel units) will be facing either southeast or southwest. All officetel and 84㎡ B-type apartment units are corner units allowing ventilation through windows on two adjacent walls, whereas all 84㎡ A- and B-type units allow ventilation through windows installed along opposite walls.

As for the neighborhood, Dongchun Elementary School and the four prestigious high schools in Daegu, namely Daegu Science High School, Gyeongsin High School, Daeryun High School and Daegu Girls’ High School are all within the area. Moreover, Beomeo Intersection (also in the neighborhood) is home to Shinsegae Department Store, large retail stores and other amenities. As for transportation, Daegu Metro Line 2 Beomeo Station is a five-minute walk away, with the KTX Dongdaegu Station located within 2 kilometers from the complex.

In terms of health, each unit will have a smart air cleaning system featuring energy recovery ventilation (ERV) equipment and an H13 HEPA filter to eliminate fine dust particles. As for security, a smart doorlock and a one-pass system will be available, where communal doors will be opened and an elevator called, automatically, for residents carrying smart keys.

As part of comprehensive efforts to help deter the spread of COVID-19, visits to the new complex’s offline model house are restricted. Instead, prospective buyers can examine the location, layout plans, presale schedule and other details as well as finishing materials and 3D model drawings - all via an online model house. “Since Suseong-gu, Daegu is densely packed with financial firms and private after-school academies for students, the scarcity value of apartments and officetels has been on the rise,” an official from Ssangyong E&C said.
