Ssangyong E&C announced on December 5 that The Platinum Omokcheon Station located at 482-2, Omokcheon-dong, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do would go on presale.

To be built on a 35,606 square meter site, this 930-unit apartment complex will consist of 10 buildings (4B/22F). This time, excluding units reserved for housing co-op members, a total of 721 units will be available for general presale: specifically, 71 units for the 39 ㎡ type, 396 units for the 59 ㎡ type, 146 units for the 74 ㎡ type and 317 units for the 84 ㎡ type. The Platinum Omokcheon Station will be located near the public transportation network, schools and a park. To be completed in August 2020, Omokcheon Station will be a transfer station between the Suin (Suwon-Incheon) Line and the Sinbundang Line (under a preliminary feasibility study) and will be situated right in front of the apartment complex. Cheoncheon Interchange (IC) and the Suwon-Gwangmyeong Expressway are also located nearby, and the new Suwon Station for the Great Train eXpress (GTX) Line C is slated to break ground soon.

As for education, a daycare center, Ohyun Elementary School (with a kindergarten), Youngshin Middle School and Youngshin Girls’ High School are all within walking distance. Moreover, a themed “line” park will be constructed along the 4.6-kilometer stretch of land above the subway line associated with Omokcheon Station, with the park connected to the walking trails within the complex. At the same time, the complex will feature vegetation spaces, with a total area of some 11,000 m².

Every building of this apartment complex will have a piloti with a height of 5.5 meters. A multipurpose gym, an indoor driving range and a fitness center will be built as well. What’s more, each family unit will feature an automated indoor fine dust removal system, a bathroom drainage noise reduction system, a smart door camera and a digital library providing free access to books via smartphone and PC.

“The project area is not designated as an ‘overheated speculation zone’ or an ‘overheated housing application region,’ so those who win the apartment presale raffle can sell their ownership rights after a six-month waiting period. Besides, even current homeowners can apply for a loan for up to 60 percent of the value of their new apartments,” one Ssangyong E&C official said.

The model house for Ssangyong The Platinum Omokcheon Station will soon open at 533-1, Gosaek-dong, Gwonseon-guk, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Starting in August 2022, new residents will be able to move in.
