Clover Shower ? won the bronze prize from among 1,671 entries at the IDEA awards in America.
Clover boasts a sophisticated design that includes a folding chair for the men and women of all ages as well as expectant mothers.
Ssangyong E&C swept all the world top three design awards (IDEA of America, iF of Germany, and RedDot) within eight months.

The apartment accessory designs of Ssangyong E&C (Chairman & CEO, S. Joon Kim) swept three of the World’s major design awards.

Ssangyong E&C recently announced that its product, the Clover shower won the bronze prize at the 2012 IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards) sponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America.

Winning the IDEA this time around, the company swept the world’s three most renowned design awards after four product designs (Clover and Equal shower, Emergency light, and Bicycle rack & lock) won a prize at the iF Design Awards (International Forum Design Award) of Germany in November last year, and two designs (Emergency light and Bicycle rack & lock) won a prize at the RedDot Design Award of Germany in March this year.

Clover received one of the main prizes at IDEA for its folding chair. A chair that allows users who have physical difficulties such as the elderly and disabled, or expectant mothers be able to comfortably and safely sit down while showering.

Yoon-Sup Park, the director of Ssangyong E&C’s Housing Product Planning Department, said, “34 countries submitted 1,671 entries to this year’s IDEA, and 216 entries, 12.9% of all, won the main prizes. He also added, “We are going to show our products for which not only design, but also safety and practical use are proven at apartment sales projects down the road.
