Ssangyong E&C (Chairman&CEO, Kim, S. Joon) closed its subscriptions on June 7 for all types of apartment units known as the “Ulsan Hwabong SsangYong Yega Complex” located in Hwabong Housing Development District 2, Buk1-gu, Ulsan, Korea. The subscription for the 1st and 2nd priority groups recorded an average competition rate of 7.16 to 1 as 2,923 people rushed to subscribe for the apartments for which a total of 408 households will be constructed (excluding special supply).
In particular, 2,381 people subscribed for the 84㎡A apartments, even though only 171 households of this type will be provided, leading to a highest competition rate of 13.92 to 1. The 84㎡D, 84㎡C, and 84㎡B apartments showed competition rates of 2.88 to 1, 2.14 to 1, and 1.70 to 1 respectively.
An official from SsangYong E&C said, “As Ulsan has a ratio of sale price to yearly key money at over 70% and its income level is high, new property markets gain in popularity,” adding, “another success factor is reasonable pricing for pre-sale prices ranging from the lower part of 7 million to 8 million won.”
Those who obtain the chance to buy an apartment will be announced on June 14 and the contract will be made for 3 days from June 19 to June 21.
Ulsan Hwabong SsangYong Yega Complex is touting its strengths of comfortable flat-type 4-Bays (84㎡A, D) or double-sided open type designs with a floor area ratio of 115%, attracting about 25,000 visitors since its Model House was opened on May 31.
