Subscriptions for Gunsan Jigok SsangYong Yega Complex were closed mostly by first-tier holders

On April 5, SssangYong E&C (Chairman & CEO, S. Joon, Kim) closed applications for most of the units for the “Gunsan Jigok SsangYong Yega Complex”, located in Jigok-dong, Gunsan-si, Jeonbuk, Korea, in priority ranking 1 and 2 subscriptions, recording an average competition rate of 3.1:1 as 2,411 potential buyers subscribed for a total of 778 units (excluding the units for special provision).

Competition for 84㎡A (in terms of exclusive area) units turned out to be most fierce as 795 buyers applied for 118 units, posting a competition ratio of 6.74:1. 59㎡A and 747㎡A units recorded a ratio of 5.49:1 and 4:1, respectively, while 74㎡B showed a ratio of 0.94:1.

Kim, Kang Seok, SSangYong E&C director for new apartment sales, said, “About one out of 8 adults in Gunsan visited the display apartment showing strong interest as there has been no new apartment sale in the neighborhood of Jigok-dong over the last two years. Its relatively inexpensive average sale price of KRW 6.7 million per 3.3 ㎡, and proximity to the convenience facilities of Susong District appealed to the consumers.” After announcing winners on April 13, the apartment sale contracts will be received in the display apartment for three days from April 18 to 20.

In the meantime, the Yega Complex drew strong attention as its 4-bay (59㎡A, 74㎡A) or double-sided open type design (with windows in front and side) was shown off as a first-of-a-kind to be introduced in Gusan. Since its opening on April 30, the display apartment has had as many as 30,000 visitors up to now.
