Construction Order Receipt for Phase II of Gongchon Water-Purification Plant

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction received a construction order for phase II of the Gongchon Water-Purification Plant from the Office of Public Procurement on December 23 worth 62.55 billion won (with Ssangyong’s share of 35 percent, which is, 18 billion and 795.6 million won).
The mission is to expand the water-purification plant (163,000 tons/day) in and around San 105 Beon-ji, Gongchon-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, and refurbish the existing plant (250,000 tons/day) throughout the construction period of about 10 months from the date of commencement.
Meanwhile, a consortium of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction and POSCO Engineering & Construction received a much higher score of 79.63 points than its competitor (with 77.08 points) at the design review process, confirming the order receipt.
