Ssangyong E&C advanced to the Japanese construction market by winning an order for the Fukuoka Hyatt Regency Hotel in Japan in May, 1992. At that time Ssangyong E&C had a close business relationship with Maeda Construction and Fukuoka Jisho, real estate development. The joint project with them consisted of hotel and offices of 246 rooms, and was completed in June, 1993. In particular it won a view award in Fukuoka City in Japan in 1994 for the appearance plan which is in harmony with its surroundings.
