Ssangyong Engineering&Construction selected as energy supplier for Geomdan New City in Incheon
On January 28, the consortium led by the Ssangyong was obtained as the supplier of the Community Energy Supply System for Sectors 1 & 2, Geomdan New City in Incheon, winning a score of 91.61. The ion was made by the Ministry of Knowledge & Economy and the Korea Energy Management Corporation.
The work is comprised of the construction of heating pipelines and heat source facilities for 92,000 households in Sector 1 & 2 (i.e. Dangha-dong, Wondang-dong, Bulro-dong and Majeon-dong) in Seo-gu, Incheon. The project amount comes to 347.5 billion won.
The ion will help the Ssangyong E&C build experience in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) work in the Community Energy Supply System sector.
