First apartment to apply Ssangyong E&C’s intellectual property right for outward appearance and alpha room

Ssangyong started selling individual units of the largest apartment complex in Geumjeong-gu, Busan after Busan was de-listed from speculative areas in August 2007. Ssangyong E&C（Chairman Kim Suk-jun）announced that it started selling individual units of the 1,095-household Ssangyong Yega Apartment in Guseo-dong, Busan from October 12. It is the first time over the past three years that an apartment complex with more than 1,000 units has been offered for sale.

The 25-story/18-building complex is comprised of ▲ 238 units, 113㎡ in size, ▲ 69 units, 163㎡ in size, ▲ 419 units, 164㎡ in size, ▲ 322 units,193㎡ in size, and ▲ 47 units, 194㎡ in size. The prices range between 7.8 million won and 10.90 million won per 3.3 square meters. Balconies are expanded and anti-noise chassis are provided for free. 4th to 6th installment payment portions are provided with no interest. Residents are scheduled to occupy the individual unit in October 2010.

The 113㎡(=34 pyeong)-sized units are priced at 8.4 million won per 3.3㎡, i.e. 10 million won less expensive than others in the area. For large-sized units, i.e. 163㎡ or larger, household appliances, such as an air-conditioner, a built-in fridge, a dishwasher and a microwave fruit washer, are provided free.

All units face south. This is also the first apartment complex for which Ssangyong E&C’s intellectual property right concerning the modernistic outward appearance and guestrooms (also called alpha rooms) applies.

A park named Guseojiwon has also been built, comprised of a pond, miniature sculpture pieces and environmentally-friendly structures.

The units on the top are provided with living rooms 3 meters high. In all units, Sound Zero Plus, a heat-insulation/noise-proof material for which Ssangyong E&C has applied for patent, a home network system, and unmanned door-to-delivery system are provided.

Guseo-dong, where the apartment is located, boasts the best environment for education of children, with Dongrae Girls’ Junior/Senior High School and Pusan High School of Arts located in the area. Guseo-dong Station of Busan Subway Line-1 is located within six minutes’ walk. Residents can easily use the Seoul-Busan Highway and the Busan Ring Road through the Guseo Interchange close to the area. Geumjeong District Office, a police station, a cultural center, E-Mart, GS Mart, a conventional market and many convenience facilities are also located in the neighborhood.
