Ssangyong’s Yega wins Good Design mark

‘Yega,’ the apartment brand of Ssangyong Engineering and Construction, was honored by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, as it received a Good Design (GD) mark in 2007 for its gardening and interior works.

A total of six GD marks were awarded for Ssangyong’s Yega apartments, including a ‘east entrance design’ for Ssangyong Yega in Sajik-dong, a ‘piloti design’ forSsangyong Yega Classic in Bangbae-dong, a ‘east entrance design’ for Ssangyong Yega in northern Gwangju city and a ’65-pyeong interior design’ in Namsan Platinum. Two environmental designs, ‘rock plaza’ and ‘water plaza,’ for Ssangyong Yega in Sajik-dong were also honored.

Ssangyong won the GD mark for the second straight year after it received the award for three projects last year in terms of construction and environmental design.
To provide apartments with differentiated designs, Ssangyong launched a department of product planning last year and focused on developing interior and gardening that fits the characteristics of each apartment.
