Day of safety checks held in May

Ssangyong Engineering and Construction held a ‘Day of Safety Checks’ on May 4 at its six domestic construction sites with its vice president Choi Jang-shik and other executives from divisions of civil engineering, construction and plants attending.
The event was held to raise workers’ safety awareness, which will help Ssangyong upgrade its external credit and increase competitiveness for more orders this year. During the event, Ssangyong honored employees for their safety work and performed a mock exercise against a possible accident.
In particular, the mock exercise against a potential fire tested a counteraction in 10 minutes and perfect media responses. Ssangyong plans to expand such exercise as an inter-company event to develop a swift and systematic system for crisis management.
