Ssangyong receives order for farmland reclamation project in Shiwha

On April 23, Ssangyong Engineering and Construction won an order worth 18 billion won from the Korea Rural Community and Agriculture Corp. for a farmland reclamation project in Shiwha, Gyeonggi province.
The order is Ssangyong’s first under the least-bidding system. It calls for Ssangyong to build a waterproof agent (L=5,606 meters) and three under-drainages, while dredging operations (V=5,490,000 cubit meters). The duration of construction is 75 months.
