Wins an order for construction of an embankment at Sinseondae, Busan Port

Ssangyong E & C won an order for building an embankment of a dredged soil dumping area at Sinseondae, Busan Port from the Public Procurement Service on May 2. The work includes reinforcement of the existing 374 m-long breakwater.
The total cost of the construction is KRW 24 billion, and the work is due for completion in 900 days.
The Company has carried out various civil engineering works at Busan Port, including the container wharf (which made Ssangyong E&C the first Korean contractor to receive a Golden Industrial Medal), the Sinseondae wharf, the Sinseondae naval base and the circular road.
The order for the embankment is expected to put the Company in an advantageous position to win related projects in future.
