5. Contract amount: 150,030 million won (not inclusive of VAT)
6. Feature: The site commands a nice view, with no high-rise buildings in the neighborhood and the apartment complex offers a premium as a large-sized complex.
▷ Jangyu-myeon is being developed as a new city with the population of 200,000, with the Jangyu District (Site preparation completed in 2001/1.4 million pyeong (= 1,130 acres) / capable of accommodating 140,000 people) and the Yulha District (site preparation to be completed in 2006 / A total of 570,000 pyeong (= 460 acres) /capable of accommodating 42,000 people).
▷ The prospect is that the new city will attract people from Changwon-city, as it suffers a shortage of housing.
▷ It is expected that the local economy will develop with the ongoing Busan-Jinhae New Port Project and promotion of the Busan-Jinhae FEZ.
▷ Currently, 85% of the existing apartments are small-sized. Thus, there is a high demand for mid- and large-sized ones.
