Since entering the Street Housing Redevelopment Project for the first time in last May, Ssangyong E&C succeeded in winning its third order in Seoul, after Anyang in Gyeonggi-do and Busan.

On November 1^st, Ssangyong E&C announced that it has been ed as the construction firm for the Street Housing Redevelopment Project for 355 Hongeun-dong, Seodaemun-gu during the general meeting held at the end of last month.

Ssangyong E&C plans to construct ‘The Platinum’ apartments, consisting of a total of 187 units in buildings that span from floors B2 to 19. The total construction cost is estimated at KRW 49.5 billion. Construction will begin in February 2024 with completion estimated at May 2026. 75 housing units, excluding the units allotted for cooperative members, will be made available to the general public.

Since winning its first Street Housing Redevelopment Project last May, Ssangyong E&C continued to secure project orders for Samdeok Jinju in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do and Oncheon #2-Gongyeong Ilwon in Busan. This Street Housing Redevelopment Project for 355 Hongeun-dong, Seodaemun-gu is its third project but the first every project in Seoul.

A Ssangyong E&C official commented, “Ssangyong E&C has won a total of KRW 1.51 trillion in urban redevelopments this year, including the redevelopment project of the Gwangmyeong Cheolsan Hanshin Apartments.” The official added, “As it is a great achievement to win an order in Seoul only 5 months after entering the Street Housing Redevelopment Project, (Ssangyong E&C) will continue to target the urban redevelopment market, with a focus on small to medium-sized reconstruction projects in Seoul, the capital, and provincial metropolitan cities.”
