Kim Seok-joon, CEO of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, plans to spend another Thanksgiving holiday with workers in Dubai

Kim Seok-joon, CEO of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, will be flying to the Dubai construction site this Thanksgiving despite the ongoing COVID19 pandemic. In Dubai, he plans to continue his tradition of sharing festive holiday cheer with the firm’s workers working abroad for the last 30 years.

 

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction announced that “CEO Kim will be departing on his trip to Dubai on the 17th of September” with the intention “to encourage workers located overseas.”

 

CEO Kim plans to visit the site of the Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences, which is a KRW 1.5 trillion project that is planned for completion by the end of the year.

 

The Royal Atlantis is shaped like the letter ‘S’ when seen from above, with a front façade that resembles an assortment of Lego blocks. The venue is expected to become one of the renowned landmarks of Dubai, offering 795 rooms in its 46-floor tower.

 

On the following day, he also plans to visit the Dubai Expo Korea Pavilion, which was built to prepare for the Dubai World Expo that will commence on October 1st.
