Construction of Mokpo Port Daebul Steel Pier Awarded

SsangYong E&C solely won the Mokpo Port Daebul Steel Pier Project of U$ 19 Mil. inJune.This project involves theconstruction of a pier exclusively for loading steel and iron of small-medium sized shipyardon 20,000 ton scale berthin Nanjeon-ri, Samho-eup, Youngam-gun, Jeollanam-do Province, Korea.The project consists of a quay wall of 210m withmanufacturing&installationof caisson at front, side revetment of 130m, ground improvement and subsidiary works. The construction period is 1,200 days. On June 18,SsangYongE&C was ed as the contractor out of 22 bidders for the project ordered by the Procurement Agency for the Regional Office of Maritime Affaires in Mokpo Province.
