The corporate credit rating of Ssangyong E&C was upgraded to BBB0 as a result of the corporate credit evaluation executed on April 29 by Korea Ratings- one of the Top 3 credit rating agencies in Korea.

This is a rating of ‘investment-grade status’, attained from prospects of improvedfinancial structure, recoveredcreditworthiness and volume of order by Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), after the company’s successful completion of rehabilitation process.

It is also aconsequence of a secure financial flexibilityanticipated by the fact thatfinancial institutions owned by ICD may issue guarantees for overseas projects or procure operating funds.

With the upgradedcorporate credit rating, positive effectsuch aslower guaranteefees and easier bank loans is expectedas a result of the recoveredinternal evaluation of major financial institutions.

SsangyongE&C plans to concentrate its capacityat the earliest possible to establish a virtuous cycle that generatesoperating profits, and to receive an‘A’ rating throughproper debt management.
